The main focus of this magazine is Kanye West; this would
help relate to a more urban audience which would be the target audience for
this magazine. A fully grey colour scheme is used apart from a single part of
natural colour which is located to his heart, this would direct the reader to
the heart as the heart is a representation of love and this is expressed in
this photo. The fact that the artist looks very serious and this being emphasized
with hands in the pocket, this shows he is posing and that the magazine has a
certain fashion sense about it, this widens the target audience but continues
on the mainstream course. By the features being in bold and the writing being
in a smaller text this would get the reader to be interested to read it and it
adds more focus to the photo. I also believe the simplistic feel to it is very
good.
