Analysis of existing magazine titles

NME is called 'New Musical Express' this is due to their involvement with various upcoming bands, by abbreviating the title it makes it a lot easier to remember the title and it allows it to stand out more. Also the red in the title allows the title to exclaim itself and make it eye catching. Also the smaller name allows for a bigger mass head.

Q Magazine has a large Q for its title, this represents questioning which relates to the common left wing party about questioning the capitalist regime. originally it was to represent queuing a song, it used to be called cue but has now settled with Q as a name. The red makes the logo stand out and catches your attention.

Clash relates to the sound a drum makes when you hit the symbol, hence its relation to musical arts.
